… the overwhelming greed of the last days…

… so, the latest Oxfam report has been released which shows that 26 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3,800,000,000. these same greedy people saw their wealth increase by 12% while the 3,800,000,000 saw their wealth decrease by 11%.

… this is demonic …

… in the third chapter of the book called Luke, we are taught that John, called the baptist, is preaching at the river and the crowds heard the message “repent; change your mind“, and they asked him what they should do. he told them, “whoever has two shirts should give one to the person who does not have one, and whoever has food is to do likewise.” he said, “show by the way you live that you have changed your mind (repented) and don’t think that your bloodline will save you.”

… in 2016, a list came out showing the 50 richest “pastors”. the poorest of the list has a net worth of over $1,000,000 at a time when 60% of all Americans would have a seriously difficult time in coming up with $400 for an emergency..

… i honestly don’t know how these people can call themselves “pastors” when it is so blatantly obvious that they are wolves in sheep’s clothing..

… there are more than 2,208 billionaires on the planet. the top 13 people alone, only those with $50,000,000,000 or more, account for $894,800,000,000, in a world where > 25,000 people stave to death daily. we can round off the top 20 at $1,207,200,000,000 – that’s > $1.2 trillion or, in other terms, $160.32 for every single person on the entire planet (at 7.53 billion). these men and women are listed with Forbes who keeps a detailed list of the greediest people on the entire planet.

.. did i forget to mention that over 3,000,000,000 actual breathing people on this planet, make less than $2.50 a day? and more than 1,300,000,000 people make less than $1.25 a day?

.. in the book of Sirach it is written;

Wild asses in the wilderness are the prey of lions; likewise the poor are feeding grounds for the rich. Humility is an abomination to the proud; likewise the poor are an abomination to the rich.

Sirach 13:19–20

.. and the writer of the book of James gives a clear warning for the end of days;

Come now, you rich people, weep and wail for the miseries that are coming to you. Your riches have rotted, and your clothes are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have rusted, and their rust will be evidence against you, and it will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure for the last days. Listen! The wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. You have lived on the earth in luxury and in pleasure; you have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter. You have condemned and murdered the righteous one, who does not resist you.

James 5:1–6

You have laid up treasure for the last days.

… in order to make it perfectly clear, the LORD Jesus told us;

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Matthew 6:24

… where do we go from here?

… the choices are your to make. every day you are faced with many decisions that either support a system of greed, or rise above this world’s system to make a difference in the lives of others around you.

… what are we relying on in time of trouble? is it our bank account? you say it’s the LORD that you trust, but is it when you have stored away so much for your future?

He that trusts in wealth shall fall; but he that helps righteous men shall rise.

Proverbs 11:28

And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?
And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?
Luke 16:11–12

… the warnings are clear, if you believe the scriptures. but, to say you believe in the scriptures, and then ignore the warnings because some rich preacher told you something different, is foolish. but the words of Christ, continue to ring out…. if we have ears to hear …

For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.” Jesus called Christ

Revelation 3:17–19
